• Professor Alex Gallin-Parisi (AGP) is the Outreach & Engagement Librarian and library liaison to Sociology/Anthropology, Political Science, Economics, Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and Urban Studies, as well as to ​many departments within Student Affairs, including but not limited to Student Inclusion & Belonging; Integrated Counseling, Health, and Wellness Services; and Student ​Organizations. AGP arrived at Trinity University in 2011 and has almost 20 years of professional experience working in academic libraries and museums. She publishes about gender, sexuality, motherhood, and embodiment in the workplace, and sexual health literacy as information literacy. AGP is training to become a sexuality educator, and plans to bring queer-inclusive, BIPOC-centered, disability-prioritized, and pleasure-focused sex ed to Trinity. A native New Yorker, AGP enjoys trying to grow Texas flowers; learning how to exercise; watching and listening to podcasts about The Bachelor franchise and Love Is Blind; eating candy and baked goods; and spending time with her spouse, kids, and animals.
